Oki, this question is on Titrations equations..

Here it goes:

(RTP 1 mol of gas molecules occupy 24.0dm3 at room temp and pressure)

At RTP, 1.00dm3 of water dissolved 432dm3 of hydrogen chloride gas.

1) How many moles of hydrogen chloride dissolved?

How would i work that out, I dont have enough info do I? :?

Also another question:

A solution was made with 8g of sodium hydroxide dissolved in 1dm3 of water. 25cm3 of this solution required 22.4cm3 of hydrochloric acid for neutralisation. What was the molarity of the hydrochloric acid?

Again, I dont have enough information do I?

Jazakallah Khair :)

Wow that looks confusing. O_o

I'm sure there are members who will be able to help.

For the first one, convert moles to grams. (the original # of moles divided by the molar mass).

I have a really bad migraine, so my brain is dead but for the second one you the need equation for molarity....btw dm3 is equal to liters.

The formula for molarity:

molarity = moles of solute/liters of solution

You will need to do some converting in these problems as well...

Did the professor not give you a notes or a handout about how to do it? Maybe ur textbook?

Btw thats all i remember at this point lol :/
