Don't be scared, I am very new aswell and I felt like this a week ago, where I took my Shahadah 2 weeks ago, I joined a group( an academy)there, it's really helpful to attend these groups to begin and you are male you will find it easy to find brotherhood groups and teachings, your now a muslim and you have now adopted a whole new family, for research go on YouTube..its still a bit overwhelming but I'm enjoying it now, I started my prayers a week ago with the help of a prayer mat with written English Arabic on it, and watch a video for beginners, one step at a time, your clean/fresh of any past sin, embrace it, and you will never feel alone, as you have Allah by your side, always, insha'Allah
