As Salaam Alaikum my question is is it normal that when I was an American Non
Muslim never heard of Islam/Muslims untill 9/11 2001 I was 15 years of age
anyone else like me in America or the Western World or i9n the Non Islamic/Non
Muslim World ?



This was my state-of-mind prior to 9/11. Up to this point I never heard about
Islam.

I suspect it is very normal still.. even post 911
