🙂As salamu alaykum 🦋🙏🏽💙

I am hoping to find here community , kindness , inclusion, support, good peaceful communication and other good things.

I’ve not felt much community and am an outsider where I live .

I think there is a lot of beauty in Islam but am not a member of any religion now.

Thing is I’m kinda woke .
I believe in LGBTQ rights , animal rights etc

Also the most compassionate and merciful .
I just don’t think hell is ok but that instead the horrible ones be separated from the good ones and nolonger mix .

Sometimes horrible ones look and feel perfect but are incredibly bad while a good one can look and feel bad and suffer but be good and true.

I was a Muslim for a year and prayed five times a day .
It was beautiful prayers I had back then.
Very special.

Now I’m not a member of any religion but pray and believe in god but maybe in a new age woke kindof way .

Thank you 🙏🏽

Hey there!

There are some Muslims I have met that I love and that are kind and peaceful but I am not a Muslim and I’m not a member of any religion but may be keen on hippie new age spirituality of love and peace and so as I’m a bit woke and so.

I think I will leave this forum as it is a religious forum and I’m not religious.

As salamu alaykum to you and prayers for kindness goodness.

I guess I wanted friendship and community or something with good kindness etc
I can be friends with people of different beliefs.

Some of my favourite people are conservative meat eaters and the best ever guy is a hunter although I morally disagree with hunting he does it to protect farm land where crops grow and so.
So I can love people of different religions and politics etc I think.

you guys may not want a woke Sheila hanging around forum although look at Dubai which seems to have woke people in it living in peace with conservatives.

Anyway.
Take care .

welcome to the forum.

too bad to hear that you were close to the truth and then bailing out.

Now define being woke. what rights are you talking about?
LGBTQ members not be treated like second grade citizens?
We do not support that in Islaam. Being gay and acting gay are two separate things. any kind of discrimination is forbidden in Islaam.

Or are you talking about the right for every LGBTQ member to openly make out in public and to walk around half naked?
We do not find that acceptable from anyone, so why would we want to accept that from the LGBTQ community?

Let alone speaking about children in the age of 15, 16 who arent even allowed to drink, smoke, drive, get a tattoo because they are not mature enough for such decisions however, they are mature enough to get an irreversible sex change?
is that reasonable you think?

animal rights?
We require our animals to be halal, which not just mean "saying something in arabic and cutting the head off"
in includes:
treating the animals right
give them enough food, good comfortable shelter
dont cause them stress,
care for them when they are sick.
dont abuse them
dont slaughter them in front of other animals
dont cause the animal pain of suffering.
etc etc.

we do not support mass slaughterhouses or farms where the animals are packed in way too small boxes or whatever

But neither do we say that we should be vegans and abandon meat totally.

this everything is included in Islaam.
too bad you abandoned it.

That a child is not mature for a tattoo at fifteen but mature for sex at nine is something I don’t agree with either.

yeah, but what I am trying to illustrate here is that being woke can not be an excuse for distancing oneself from Islam.
Muslims are also for animal rights
muslims are also for human rights

The only thing is, we do not go into extremes
we do not go around and say everyone should be vegans or
we do not say that LGBTQ or any other group should have more rights than the main group.

We see the LGBTQ as a part of the human society and therefore they should have equal rights. not more, not less.

Oh I didn't see this post of yours.

Please describe to us what you stand for as "woke"

Which LGBTQ rights are you exactly talking about?
Which rights do other people have and the LGBTQ-group doesn't?
or which rights should the LGBTQ extra have on top of the rights of the rights of the basic human rights?

I mean we all support basic human rights for everyone, but what exactly is LGBTQ-rights?

about hunting
you do understand that hunting is sometimes necessary for various reasons right?
Sometimes, one species of animals can overpopulate and can have desastrous effects on crops, population of other animals or plants, etc.
an overpopulation of one species somewhere could mean they consume everything and do not leave enough food for other species to thrive so they die out or are forced to seek food elsewhere, so the ecosystem totally changes.

So you cannot be totally against huntig, even as a woke.

Al-Bukhaari & Muslim narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will forgive my ummah for whatever crosses their minds so long as they do not act upon it or speak of it.”

So if you have inclinations towards LGBTQ then it's no issue, but to act in that path is against Fitrah - Medical Forensic Sciences has a special catogery of Crimes called Un-Natural Sexual Inclinations (Includes LGBT). Thus what people thinks as Frredom Compromise in all sense one of Involved partners. According to Addiction-Centre : An estimated 20 to 30% of the LGBTQ+ community abuses substances, compared to about 9% of the general population. This indicates continuous Unintended Life of Community Members as they are trapped and blackmailed by Community and outsiders.

This Comes with Additional STD Prevalence in them the main reason to project towards this is Anxiety Depression in immature students and people of different ages. Thus Moving Towards LGBT is not a Normal Healthy issue but due to some secondary reasons and misguidance. And the effect this Community has made in Canada can be seen in TRT Documentary 'True Colour' where the Post-LGBT members tell their unfortunate experience during their life. I hope You would also give some light on this Issue From this POV. And Welcome to this Community!! Allah-Hafiz.

As salamu alaykum!

A very nice muslim family work at local post office and i sometimes greet them with as salamu alaykum.

May peace and blessings be upon you .
Those words are so beautiful.
Love those kind words.

I had a Muslim boyfriend who said he wanted to marry me but I was not well and we did not marry .
He was amazing.
Funny and kind and peaceful.
And so handsome.ha ha ha
And religious with his prayers , mosque visits etc and he worked as a bus driver although in his home country of Jordan he was actually an engineer and very educated.

I do know that halal meat is said with a prayer and one is to be compassionate and respectful to the animal which is a lot better than factory farming without compassion and respect and prayer.

thank you for your reply .

Kind regards!🙏🏽

God is the Most Great, to God is our certain return, all praise is due to God, none are worthy of worship except God nor is there any god but God, God is the King and Lord and Ruler and God and Protector and Light and Creator of the seven heavens and the earth and all things in them and all things in between them!

You can believe and be a Believer in God without having a religion, but as a Muslim you are a Super-Believer.

New age woke stuff is falsehood.

Islam is the Truth.

Your low understanding and awokeness of hell is what made you misunderstand it totally and what created misconception in you about it.

You have left Truth (Religion, Islam) for falsehood (woke new age spirituality).

Be certain of this.

God is Living.

Assalamu Alaikum sisters!

I'm Berry, a Dominican and Mexican revert, Alhamdulillah, I've been Muslim for 4 years now and am still growing and learning every day. I recently started The Berry Blog—a space dedicated to helping Muslim women embrace their femininity, wellness, and deen in a way that feels natural and joyful. I share reflections on Islamic femininity, halal beauty, wellness tips, and even cultural recipes—all with the goal of making Islam feel like the beautiful, liberating path it truly is.

I’m still finding my rhythm and would love to connect with more sisters! Whether you're a fellow revert, interested in halal beauty, or just looking for sisterhood and meaningful conversations, I’d love to get to know you all.

Looking forward to learning, sharing, and growing together, inshaAllah.

Jazak Allahu Khairan!

Salam aleykum,
ma sha Allah akhi. I am german revert.

and I became Muslim 9 years ago, Alhamdulillah. No one introduced Islam to me—I just started thinking about God and realized that there must be only one, who is all-powerful and perfect in every way.

That thought led me to research different religions, and through logic and reflection, I found Islam.

Just me in my children room. In the end I converted through a chat from islamreligion.com (https://www.islamreligion.com/chat-key/) this was the exact website.

I asked the brother, how to convert. And I asked him: The paradise and hellfire, we will live there with our real bodies? Or its just our soul?

He told no, its body and soul, and you will know who you were in this dunya.

I've read some ayat in german language and then directly converted. Alhamdulillah I always sticked to Islam, I always praid all my prayers.

Now I live in islamic countrie and learn my religon and Im married alhamdulillah!

Also nowow, I try to help others understand Islam better. I run websites where I explain different topics and invite people to learn about the deen. I explain who is Allah, who is the prophet (saws) and so on.

Because in Germany especially the people hate islam since they have a wrong picture from media. Since I grew up in Germany, I understand the mindset of many Muslims here, the challenges they face, and the misconceptions people have about Islam.

Please share more about how you found islam
