Asking for something?

Can someone please help me? i need to know how u ask allah for something that you wish to have? Something tht you would like to have or to happen in ur life?

the way we ask from Allah is to humble ourselves to him and show our dependancy to him and to believe that Allah will accept ur call sooner or later .....and oh yeah ask of those things which are allowed in islam.
if u find that u dont get wat u asked for then dont think ur pray hasnt been answered coz sometimes getting that thing at that time may not be best for u in the knowledge of Allah so Allah delays it to the appropriate moment.....
