Today the tabloids are the grapevines of rumors and accusations for well known personalities.
Back in the times of the Prophet SAW, the tabloids were non existent in the form they are today but the vicious rumors and accusations found a way to spread like wildfire anyway, and the accusations were directed to none other than the beloved wife of our Prophet SAW..
Let's go back in time as Yasir Qadhi narrates and extracts numerous lessons from the Incident of the Slander, which occurred in the 6th year of the Hijrah after the Battle of Ahzab. One of the most important incidents in the life of the family of the Prophet saw, this snapshot in seerah was mentioned in the Quran, where Allah had dedicated over 20 verses concerning it.
