سورة ٢٢ : الحج الآية: ٧٣
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌ فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟ لَهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَن يَخْلُقُوا۟ ذُبَابًا وَلَوِ ٱجْتَمَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ وَإِن يَسْلُبْهُمُ ٱلذُّبَابُ شَيْـًٔا لَّا يَسْتَنقِذُوهُ مِنْهُ ضَعُفَ ٱلطَّالِبُ وَٱلْمَطْلُوبُ (٧٣)

Chapter 22 : The Pilgrimage, Verse: 73
O humanity! A lesson is set forth, so listen to it ˹carefully˺: those ˹idols˺ you invoke besides Allah can never create ˹so much as˺ a fly, even if they ˹all˺ were to come together for that. And if a fly were to snatch anything away from them, they cannot ˹even˺ retrieve it from the fly. How powerless are those who invoke and those invoked! (73)
 
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

وَيَسْــئَلُوْنَكَ عَنْ ذِى الْقَرْنَيْنِ ۗ قُلْ سَاَ تْلُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْهُ ذِكْرًا 
"And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, "I will recite to you about him a report.""

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

يٰزَكَرِيَّاۤ اِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلٰمِ ٱِسْمُهٗ يَحْيٰى ۙ لَمْ نَجْعَلْ لَّهٗ مِنْ قَبْلُ سَمِيًّا
"[He was told], "O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John. We have not assigned to any before [this] name.""

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

قَا لَ اِنِّيْ عَبْدُ اللّٰهِ ۗ اٰتٰٮنِيَ الْكِتٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِيْ نَبِيًّا 
"[Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet."

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:285-286):

اٰمَنَ الرَّسُوْلُ بِمَاۗ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْہِ مِنْ رَّبِّہٖ وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ۝۰ۭ كُلٌّ اٰمَنَ بِاللہِ وَمَلٰۗىِٕكَتِہٖ وَكُتُبِہٖ وَرُسُلِہٖ۝۰ۣ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنْ رُّسُلِہٖ۝۰ۣ وَقَالُوْا سَمِعْنَا وَاَطَعْنَا۝۰ۤۡ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَاِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيْرُ۝۲۸


لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللہُ نَفْسًا اِلَّا وُسْعَہَا۝۰ۭ لَہَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْہَا مَااكْتَسَبَتْ۝۰ۭ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَاۗ اِنْ نَّسِيْنَاۗ اَوْ اَخْطَاْنَا۝۰ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَاۗ اِصْرًا كَـمَا حَمَلْتَہٗ عَلَي الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا۝۰ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَۃَ لَنَا بِہٖ۝۰ۚ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا۝۰۪ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا۝۰۪ وَارْحَمْنَا۝۰۪ اَنْتَ مَوْلٰىنَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَي الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ۝۲۸۶ۧ​


I am new here and one of my favorite verses in the Quran is the last two Ayats of Surah Al-Baqarah (2:285-286). These verses hold such deep meaning and blessings that I decided to create a website dedicated to them out of love—to make their tafsir, benefits, and recitations easily accessible to everyone.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

مَا كَا نَ لِلّٰهِ اَنْ يَّتَّخِذَ مِنْ وَّلَدٍ ۙ سُبْحٰنَهٗ ۗ اِذَا قَضٰۤى اَمْرًا فَاِ نَّمَا يَقُوْلُ لَهٗ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ 
"It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is."
(QS. Maryam 19: Verse 35)

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ اَحْسَنُ اَثَا ثًا وَّرِءْيًا
"And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance?"

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

فَاِ نَّمَا يَسَّرْنٰهُ بِلِسَا نِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ وَتُنْذِرَ بِهٖ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا
"So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people."

اِذْهَبْ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّهٗ طَغٰى
"Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.""

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

وَلَـقَدْ اَرَيْنٰهُ اٰيٰتِنَا كُلَّهَا فَكَذَّبَ وَاَ بٰى
"And We certainly showed Pharaoh Our signs - all of them - but he denied and refused."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 56)

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

وَلَقَدْ اَوْحَيْنَاۤ اِلٰى مُوْسٰۤى ۙ اَنْ اَسْرِ بِعِبَا دِيْ فَا ضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيْقًا فِى الْبَحْرِ يَبَسًا ۙ لَّا تَخٰفُ دَرَكًا وَّلَا تَخْشٰى
"And We had inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning].""

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

كَذٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ اَنْۢبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ ۚ وَقَدْ اٰتَيْنٰكَ مِنْ لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرًا 
"Thus, [O Muhammad], We relate to you from the news of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Us the Qur'an."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 99)

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

فَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَـقُّ ۚ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِا لْقُرْاٰ نِ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يُّقْضٰۤى اِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهٗ ۖ وَقُلْ رَّبِّ زِدْنِيْ عِلْمًا
"So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge.""
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 114)

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

فَا صْبِرْ عَلٰى مَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوْعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوْبِهَا ۚ وَمِنْ اٰنَآئِ الَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْ وَاَ طْرَا فَ النَّهَا رِ لَعَلَّكَ تَرْضٰى
"So be patient over what they say and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 130)

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

اَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اَنَّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَا لْاَ رْضَ كَا نَـتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنٰهُمَا ۗ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ ۗ اَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ
"Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?"
(QS. Al-Anbiyaa 21: Verse 30)

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَا زِيْنَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَـفْسٌ شَيْـئًـا ۗ وَاِ نْ كَا نَ مِثْقَا لَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ اَتَيْنَا بِهَا ۗ وَكَفٰى بِنَا حٰسِبِيْنَ
"And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant."
(QS. Al-Anbiyaa 21: Verse 47)

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

وَاَ رَا دُوْا بِهٖ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنٰهُمُ الْاَ خْسَرِيْنَ 
"And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers."
(QS. Al-Anbiyaa 21: Verse 70)

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

وَاِ سْمٰعِيْلَ وَاِ دْرِيْسَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ ۗ كُلٌّ مِّنَ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ

اِنَّ فِيْ هٰذَا لَبَلٰغًا لِّـقَوْمٍ عٰبِدِيْنَ 
"Indeed, in this [Qur'an] is notification for a worshipping people."

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا النَّا سُ اِنْ كُنْـتُمْ فِيْ رَيْبٍ مِّنَ الْبَـعْثِ فَاِ نَّـا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ مِّنْ تُرَا بٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُّـطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَّغَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّـنُبَيِّنَ لَـكُمْ ۗ وَنُقِرُّ فِى الْاَ رْحَا مِ مَا نَشَآءُ اِلٰۤى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوْۤا اَشُدَّكُمْ ۚ وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُّتَوَفّٰى وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُّرَدُّ اِلٰۤى اَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْـئًـا ۗ وَتَرَى الْاَ رْضَ هَا مِدَةً فَاِ ذَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَآءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَاَ نْۢبَـتَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍۢ بَهِيْجٍ
"O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind."
(QS. Al-Hajj 22: Verse 5)
