50) Sūrat Qāf
050.016 We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِه ِِ نَفْسُه ُُ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ
 
65) Sūrat Aţ-Ţalāq

065.005 That is the commandment of Allah which He revealeth unto you. And whoso keepeth his duty to Allah, He will remit from him his evil deeds and magnify reward for him.

ذَلِكَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ أَنزَلَهُ~ُ إِلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِه ِِ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهُ~ُ أَجْرا
 
64) Sūrat At-Taghābun

064.014 O ye who believe! Lo! among your wives and your children there are enemies for you, therefor beware of them. And if ye efface and overlook and forgive, then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ وَأَوْلاَدِكُمْ عَدُوّا ً لَكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ وَإِنْ ۚ تَعْفُوا وَتَصْفَحُوا وَتَغْفِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم
 

(38. Some faces that Day will be bright,) (39. Laughing, rejoicing at good news.) (40. And other faces that Day will be dust-stained.) (41. Darkness will cover them.) (42. Such will be the disbelieving, the wicked evil doers.)

2) Sūrat Al-Baqarah


002.183 O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, even as it was prescribed for those before you, that ye may ward off (evil);

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
 
33) Sūrat Al-'Aĥzāb

033.004 Allah hath not assigned unto any man two hearts within his body, nor hath He made your wives whom ye declare (to be your mothers) your mothers, nor hath He made those whom ye claim (to be your sons) your sons. This is but a saying of your mouths. But Allah saith the truth and He showeth the way.

مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِرَجُل ٍ مِنْ قَلْبَيْنِ فِي جَوْفِه ِِ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَاجَكُمُ اللاَّئِي تُظَاهِرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَاءَكُمْ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ ۚ ذَلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُمْ بِأَفْوَاهِكُمْ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَقُولُ الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهْدِي السَّبِيلَ
 
3) Sūrat 'Āli `Imrān



003.007 He it is Who hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture wherein are clear revelations - they are the substance of the Book - and others (which are) allegorical. But those in whose hearts is doubt pursue, forsooth, that which is allegorical seeking (to cause) dissension by seeking to explain it. None knoweth its explanation save Allah. And those who are of sound instruction say: We believe therein; the whole is from our Lord; but only men of understanding really heed.

هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَات ٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَات ٌ ۖ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغ ٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَه ََ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِه ِِ ۗ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ~ُ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ ۗ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِه ِِ كُلّ ٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا ۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلاَّ أُوْلُوا الأَلْبَابِ
 
4) Sūrat An-Nisā'



004.004 And give unto the women (whom ye marry) free gift of their marriage portions; but if they of their own accord remit unto you a part thereof, then ye are welcome to absorb it (in your wealth).

وَآتُوا النِسَاء صَدُقَاتِهِنَّ نِحْلَة ً ۚ فَإِنْ طِبْنَ لَكُمْ عَنْ شَيْء ٍ مِنْهُ نَفْسا ً فَكُلُوه ُُ هَنِيئا ً مَرِيئا
 
43) Sūrat Az-Zukhruf

043.026 And when Abraham said unto his father and his folk: Lo! I am innocent of what ye worship

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيه ِِ وَقَوْمِهِ~ِ إِنَّنِي بَرَاء ٌ مِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ
 
46) Sūrat Al-'Aĥqāf

046.009 Say: I am no new thing among the messengers (of Allah), nor know I what will be done with me or with you. I do but follow that which is inspired in me, and I am but a plain warner.

قُلْ مَا كُنْتُ بِدْعا ً مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَمَا أَدْرِي مَا يُفْعَلُ بِي وَلاَ بِكُمْ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ وَمَا أَنَا إِلاَّ نَذِير ٌ مُبِين
 
45) Sūrat Al-Jāthiyah

045.018 And now have We set thee (O Muhammad) on a clear road of (Our) commandment; so follow it, and follow not the whims of those who know not.

ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَى شَرِيعَة ٍ مِنَ الأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ
 
47) Sūrat Muĥammad
047.011 That is because Allah is patron of those who believe, and because the disbelievers have no patron.

ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَوْلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَأَنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ لاَ مَوْلَى لَهُمْ
 
31) Sūrat Luqmān

031.013 And (remember) when Luqman said unto his son, when he was exhorting him: O my dear son! Ascribe no partners unto Allah. Lo! to ascribe partners (unto Him) is a tremendous wrong -

وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِه ِِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُه ُُ يَابُنَيَّ لاَ تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ ۖ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيم
 
52) Sūrat Aţ-Ţūr
052.021 And they who believe and whose seed follow them in faith, We cause their seed to join them (there), and We deprive them of nought of their (life's) work. Every man is a pledge for that which he hath earned.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُمْ مِنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْء ٍ ۚ كُلُّ امْرِئ ٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِين
 
68) Sūrat Al-Qalam

068.033 Such was the punishment. And verily the punishment of the Hereafter is greater if they did but know.

كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
 
71) Sūrat Nūĥ
071.028 My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin.
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنا ً وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلاَ تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلاَّ تَبَارا
 
77) Sūratālmursalāt
077.043 (Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئا ً بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
 
61) Sūrat Aş-Şaf

061.011 Ye should believe in Allah and His messenger, and should strive for the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is better for you, if ye did but know.

تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِه ِِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْر ٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
 
44) Sūrat Ad-Dukhān

044.013 How can there be remembrance for them, when a messenger making plain (the Truth) had already come unto them,

أَنَّى لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَى وَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُول ٌ مُبِين
 
And if you were to count Allah's favors, you would not be able to number them; most surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. [Sūrah al-Nahl: 18]
