Translation

67. And (remember) when Mûsa (Moses) said to his people: "Verily, Allâh commands you that you slaughter a cow." They said, "Do you make fun of us?" He said, "I take Allâh's Refuge from being among Al-Jâhilûn (the ignorants or the foolish)."
Jazak Allah

2. Al-Baqara (The Cow)

Surah: 2 Aya: 172

Transliteration
172. Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo kuloo min tayyibati ma razaqnakum waoshkuroo lillahi in kuntum iyyahu taAAbudoona

Translation

172. O you who believe! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you with, and be grateful to Allâh, if it is indeed He Whom you worship.
Jazak Allah

Surah Al-Isra, Verse 2:

And We gave Musa the Book and made it a guidance to the children of Israel, saying: Do not take a protector besides Me;

Surah Maryam, Verse 2:

A mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zakariya.

Surah Maryam, Verse 12:

O Yahya! take hold of the Book with strength, and We granted him wisdom while yet a child

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 26:

Surely Allah is not ashamed to set forth any parable-- (that of) a gnat or any thing above that; then as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, and as for those who disbelieve, they say: What is it that Allah means by this parable: He causes many to err by it and many He leads aright by it! but He does not cause to err by it (any) except the transgressors,

Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 10:

Certainly We have revealed to you a Book in which is your good remembrance; what! do you not then understand?

Surah Ar-Room, Verse 8:

Do they not reflect within themselves: Allah did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but with truth, and (for) an appointed term? And most surely most of the people are deniers of the meeting of their Lord.

Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 18:

They shall say: Glory be to Thee; it was not beseeming for us that we should take any guardians besides Thee, but Thou didst make them and their fathers to enjoy until they forsook the reminder, and they were a people in perdition,

Do they not consider how many a generation We have destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth as We have not established you, and We sent the clouds pouring rain on them in abundance, and We made the rivers to flow beneath them, then We destroyed them on account of their faults and raised up after them another generation.
