Surah Yusuf, Verse 2:

Surely We have revealed it-- an Arabic Quran-- that you may understand.
(English - Shakir)

Surah An-Nahl, Verse 11:

He causes to grow for you thereby herbage, and the olives, and the palm trees, and the grapes, and of all the fruits; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect.
(English - Shakir)

Re: Beautiful Quotes, Proverbs, Sayings

14:32. Allâh is He Who created the heavens and the earth and He causes water to come down from the clouds and He brings forth fruits therewith to be your sustenance. He has made subservient to you the ships that they may sail through the sea by His leave and He has made subservient to you the rivers (also).

Surah Taha, Verse 72:

They said: We do not prefer you to what has come to us of clear arguments and to He Who made us, therefore decide what you are going to decide; you can only decide about this world's life.
(English - Shakir)

via iQuran

Surah Yunus, Verse 12:

And when affliction touches a man, he calls on Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We remove his affliction from him, he passes on as though he had never called on Us on account of an affliction that touched him; thus that which they do is made fair-seeming to the extravagant.
(English - Shakir)

Surah Al-Waqia, Verse 9:

(English - Shakir)

via iQuran

Surah An-Nahl, Verse 8:

And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know.
(English - Shakir)

via iQuran

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 12:

Say: To whom belongs what is in the heavens and the earth? Say: To Allah; He has ordained mercy on Himself; most certainly He will gather you on the resurrection day-- there is no doubt about it. (As for) those who have lost their souls, they will not believe.
(English - Shakir)

Surah Al-Araf, Verse 2:

A Book revealed to you-- so let there be no straitness in your breast on account of it-- that you may warn thereby, and a reminder close to the believers.
(English - Shakir)

Surah At-Taubah, Verse 8:

How (can it be)! while if they prevail against you, they would not pay regard in your case to ties of relationship, nor those of covenant; they please you with their mouths while their hearts do not consent; and most of them are transgressors.
(English - Shakir)

via iQuran

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 2:

(English - Shakir)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray.
(English - Shakir)

Some of these seem like fragments of statements as if they're missing parts. In these few cases is there any way that you can add the before and after text? I find most of these quite intriguing and helpful but to be frank some of them really seem partial. Thank you in advance. Absolutely no disrespect whatsoever.

This is a good point for us all popsthebuilder. Some verses are continuations from the verse before. In this case, the verse before is "guide us to the straight path." The next verse continues, "the path of those you have favoured...", as posted above. In this case, it's best to post the two together. Same would be the case eg with 107:4 which says, "Woe to those who pray." You need the next verse with it for the context and to complete the sentence "those who are neglectful of/delay their prayers".

Peace.
