لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَا لْمُشْرِكِيْنَ مُنْفَكِّيْنَ حَتّٰى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ
"Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence -"

وَاِ ذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوْا فِى الْاَ رْضِ ۙ قَا لُوْاۤ اِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُوْنَ
"And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers.""
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 11)

يٰۤاَ يُّهَا النَّا سُ اعْبُدُوْا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ وَا لَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ
"O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous -"
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 21)

وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَـقَّ بِا لْبَا طِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَـقَّ وَاَ نْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ
"And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 42)

وَاِ ذِا سْتَسْقٰى مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖ فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبْ بِّعَصَا كَ الْحَجَرَ ۗ فَا نْفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا ۗ قَدْ عَلِمَ کُلُّ اُنَا سٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ۗ کُلُوْا وَا شْرَبُوْا مِنْ رِّزْقِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِيْ الْاَ رْضِ مُفْسِدِيْنَ
"And [recall] when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, "Strike with your staff the stone." And there gushed forth from it twelve springs, and every people knew its watering place. "Eat and drink from the provision of Allah, and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption.""
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 60)
اَفَتَطْمَعُوْنَ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْا لَـكُمْ وَقَدْ كَا نَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُوْنَ کَلَا مَ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُوْنَهٗ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوْهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ
"Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it while they were knowing?"
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 75)
وَقَا لُوْا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّا رُ اِلَّاۤ اَيَّا مًا مَّعْدُوْدَةً ۗ قُلْ اَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ عَهْدًا فَلَنْ يُّخْلِفَ اللّٰهُ عَهْدَهٗۤ اَمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ
"And they say, "Never will the Fire touch us, except for a few days." Say, "Have you taken a covenant with Allah? For Allah will never break His covenant. Or do you say about Allah that which you do not know?""
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 80)
بِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْا بِهٖۤ اَنْفُسَهُمْ اَنْ يَّكْفُرُوْا بِمَاۤ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ بَغْيًا اَنْ يُّنَزِّلَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ عَلٰى مَنْ يَّشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَا دِهٖ ۚ فَبَآءُوْ بِغَضَبٍ عَلٰى غَضَبٍ ۗ وَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَذَا بٌ مُّهِيْنٌ
"How wretched is that for which they sold themselves - that they would disbelieve in what Allah has revealed through [their] outrage that Allah would send down His favor upon whom He wills from among His servants. So they returned having [earned] wrath upon wrath. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 90)
وَا تَّبَعُوْا مَا تَتْلُوا الشَّيٰطِيْنُ عَلٰى مُلْكِ سُلَيْمٰنَ ۚ وَمَا کَفَرَ سُلَيْمٰنُ وَلٰـكِنَّ الشَّيٰـطِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يُعَلِّمُوْنَ النَّا سَ السِّحْرَ وَمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَـکَيْنِ بِبَا بِلَ هَا رُوْتَ وَمَا رُوْتَ ۗ وَمَا يُعَلِّمٰنِ مِنْ اَحَدٍ حَتّٰى يَقُوْلَاۤ اِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۗ فَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُوْنَ بِهٖ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَ زَوْجِهٖ ۗ وَمَا هُمْ بِضَآ رِّيْنَ بِهٖ مِنْ اَحَدٍ اِلَّا بِاِ ذْنِ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ ۗ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوْا لَمَنِ اشْتَرٰٮهُ مَا لَهٗ فِى الْاٰ خِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَا قٍ ۗ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا بِهٖۤ اَنْفُسَهُمْ ۗ لَوْ کَانُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ
"And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah. And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 102)
وَقَا لَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ لَـيْسَتِ النَّصٰرٰى عَلٰى شَيْءٍ ۖ وَّقَا لَتِ النَّصٰرٰى لَـيْسَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ عَلٰى شَيْءٍ ۙ وَّهُمْ يَتْلُوْنَ الْكِتٰبَ ۗ كَذٰلِكَ قَا لَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۚ فَا للّٰهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ فِيْمَا كَا نُوْا فِيْهِ يَخْتَلِفُوْنَ
"The Jews say "The Christians have nothing [true] to stand on," and the Christians say, "The Jews have nothing to stand on," although they [both] recite the Scripture. Thus the polytheists speak the same as their words. But Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 113)
وَقَا لُوْا کُوْنُوْا هُوْدًا اَوْ نَصٰرٰى تَهْتَدُوْا ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ اِبْرٰهٖمَ حَنِيْفًا ۗ وَمَا كَا نَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ
"They say, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided." Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists.""
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 135)
وَكَذٰلِكَ جَعَلْنٰكُمْ اُمَّةً وَّسَطًا لِّتَکُوْنُوْا شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى النَّا سِ وَيَكُوْنَ الرَّسُوْلُ عَلَيْكُمْ شَهِيْدًا ۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الْقِبْلَةَ الَّتِيْ كُنْتَ عَلَيْهَاۤ اِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَنْ يَّتَّبِعُ الرَّسُوْلَ مِمَّنْ يَّنْقَلِبُ عَلٰى عَقِبَيْهِ ۗ وَاِ نْ كَا نَتْ لَكَبِيْرَةً اِلَّا عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ هَدَى اللّٰهُ ۗ وَمَا كَا نَ اللّٰهُ لِيُضِيْعَ اِيْمَا نَكُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِا لنَّا سِ لَرَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
"And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 143)
وَمَثَلُ الَّذِيْنَ کَفَرُوْا كَمَثَلِ الَّذِيْ يَنْعِقُ بِمَا لَا يَسْمَعُ اِلَّا دُعَآءً وَّنِدَآءً ۗ صُمٌّۢ بُكْمٌ عُمْـيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُوْنَ
"The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries cattle or sheep - deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 171)
وَاِ ذَا سَاَ لَـكَ عِبَا دِيْ عَنِّيْ فَاِ نِّيْ قَرِيْبٌ ۗ اُجِيْبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّا عِ اِذَا دَعَا نِ ۙ فَلْيَسْتَجِيْبُوْا لِيْ وَلْيُؤْمِنُوْا بِيْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُوْنَ
"And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 186)
