So, who's going to be watching this tonight? From what I've heard, it has had a positive reception from Muslim Imams/leaders who have watched it.

I managed to a watch a few minutes since it took ages to load on my slow net and it got late..

But it seemed good and it was quite similar to another documentary i watched, i believe its called 'The Biography of the Prophet Muhammad', you can also search it on Youtube..

Unless this is the same one but it seems the one posted by the OP was made recently and the other was made a couple years ago..

It does seem to start the same way, some may have already seen it..

Yes, saw it. It's "ok from a western point of view", but not something I'd use for Dawah. Too much emphasis on false things, giving hate mongers interviews, hardly letting any Muslim Scholars speak, also didn't like the way the presenter kept wording things.

I still havent been able to watch the doc posted by the OP..

But I have heard through some people there was some disagreement with the documentary by some muslims on facebook :-\..

disagreement such as the documentary classed the Prophet (saw) as a normal human, they seemed to have issues with that. And also the 'facebookers' had issues with the 'deobandis' and calling Abdur Raheem Green one and also many more i cant remember. I dont know if i can disagree that the prophet (saw) was normal, he was normal as in he wasnt superior over anyone, he didnt think of himself better than anyone, or even other messengers, he was normal as he ate, drank etc like every other normal human.He dealt with things with the abilities of normal humans, but he was chosen by Allaah as his messenger, maybe that is what makes him different to any other humans, he was perfect in nature etc he was a guidance for mankind, he had the ability to perform miracles but by the will of Allaah and not of himself, that is what differentiates the prophets from normal people, there is more. what do you guys think?

Yeah I watched it... Its good so far..Not too bias either....but like said there are more comments from non islamic scholars rather than islamic scholars.
