Time to learn some basic urdu :p

how to say "How are you?" and "What is your name?" ?
 
ap kaise hain - How are you

apka nam kya hai - What is your name?

Now try saying it in real life.
 
mujhay samosa khana acha lagta hai ( I like to eat samosa) or if u want to say ( I like samosas) u say mujhay samosay pasand hain
 
I thought Urdu is written with Arabic letters. I guess I was wrong.

You're right sister. It is written with Arabic letters, with a few extra ones that aren't in Arabic. But here, to help people learn how to say things, it's being written in English.

it is i'm writing it in the English form which is called roman Urdu so that it can be read easily I don't have the option to write it in the original form

Urdu sounds like Arabic with some Urdu words to me, I can learn it in a few days lol,
No joking, I don’t know how easy or hard the Urdu grammar yet.
 
You can try the google translate app.
it will write in urdu whatever you write in roman urdu.
