Benfit of Durood Shareef

Salaam everyone, can ou all please write a benifit of Durood Shareef. I'll start it off:

Erm.. How about additionally adding the source of whatever we post and verifying that it is in fact saheeh.

And because some may not already know what Durood Shareef is, it is sending peace and blessings on Sayyidina Rasulullah (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam).

Surely Allah and His angels bless the Prophet; O you who believe! call for (Divine) blessings on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation. [Surah Ahzab / Ayah 56]
