Jazakallah Khair Sister nazia and Sister ~Mu'MiNaH~, but there are many convert Muslims who have become Nashedd artists such as Yusuf Islam, Native Deen and many others. In some of their Nasheeds they use drums or none at all but that really is strange because they seem quite devout Muslims.

But as Sister nazia had written Allah Ta'ala knows best and what will happen and who is strong in the true faith and who isn''t.

yeah of course we cant judge if someone will be punnished for it, but i think its just best to refrain from instruments since it has been mentioned :)

Ijma'a of the 4 imams:
Music that takes one away from the remembrance of Allah (swt) and music that has other instruments other than the duff is strictly forbidden. :)

Sis the drum is allowed according to my understanding. But other instruments are not allowed. Native Deen use percussion I think, I think their aim is to get youngsters to listen to their stuff. But the deen was established before they were even a molecule in existance, so we cannot accept things in Islam just because other Muslims do it. We have to back up our claims with evidence insha-Allah. So Allah knows best.:)

lol naa, i jus recently got my mum to let me wear a prayer cap n keep a beard, i'll work on da jubbas inabit ;) :)

2) do you listen to naseeds?i use to be well into dem but now i jus listen to quran recitations mostly, IBRAHIM JIBREEN SOUNDS TOO BEAUTIFUL!!! MASHALLAH!!! (thats actaully my MSN nick :p)


3) do you cry much? lol :okay: lool... weneva i hear nethin which makes me think people hav been treated too unjustly it gets u inside such as the poor boy who got... u kno :( :'(!! or wen im in prayer... i try my best during tahajjud to cry lol not always successful :p

lol duff is a type of alcohol its "daff" LOL :p, n ye musik is jus nasty khobisiness. I really hate it now, one o my cuzins tried puttin it on and i gave my piercing "DONT U DARE" look haha, i really kno how to make people FrEeZe!!!!! ;D
