As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle (PBUH) said," Whoever says: "La ilaha illal-lah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l-mulk wa lahu-l-hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shai'in qadir," one hundred times will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he."

6. In Prayer After at-Tashahud: Invocation after finishing At-Tashahud, prior to saying salam, it is recommended and was the practice of the Prophet . Abdullah Ibn Masoud narrated, "I was offering prayer while the Prophet, Abu Bakr and Umar were together. After I sat (for the last Tashahud), I began by praising Allah. Then I said blessings on the Prophet and then I made Du'aa for myself. The Prophet said, "Ask and you will be given, ask you will be given." (Tirmithi)

:wasalamex

I am not that good in english, does prior means before saying salaam or after salaam?

Becoz i heard it is biddah to ask dua in jamaat, Some people told me that if our dua is not fulfilled, then Allah might fulfill another people dua through our saying to "Ameen"
