Best way of memorizing????

Can anyone please help......


I was just wondering which is the best & most effective way of memorizing the qur'an,


I've been having some trouble lately lacking behind in my surahs,......


i think maybe the years are catching on .....subhanallah!


I know that different people have different techniques and ways of doing so but if you could pls share your tips...........

1. Read ALOUDDD
2. Repeat what you read
3. Memorise in small packets, so focus on memorisng 1 verse at a time.
4. When you just finished memorising 3 ro 4 verses, read them ALL to yourself again to make sure you remember the verse order.
5. Revise what you learnt atleast once a day even for half - 1 hour.

Listen to one of ur favourite recitors, e.g Sheikh Saud ash Shuraim and hear how they read it, keep on listening to it and Insallah, it will be easy for you to memorise.
