There is a thread about Bilal Ibn Rabah here: http://www.islamicboard.com/companions-prophet/348-bilal-ibn-rabah.html

Bilal Ibn Rabah, the first Muazzin (caller to prayer) of Islam, was one of the most trusted and loyal companion of Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.).He was a true model of the morals and customs of Islam. He cherished unbounded love for the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) and was deeply devoted to Islam. He was a staunch foe of the infidels and idolaters but this involved no personal feelings. He held the infidels in deep contempt because they were the enemies of Islam and the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.).

these hadiths has got nothing to do with the colour of skin:hmm: if the prophet mohammad pbuh said a certain red tinged white man was evil so the red tinged white muslims of today are not going to jump to all crazy and ridiculious theories that our beloved prophet mohammad pbuh was a racist??? what is up with negro people seriously and please dont take my remark as being racist also!! i am just sick with this critisizing this beautiful religion without knowledge. i dont care if humans are getting blamed racism its bad enough but when our creator is blamed and questioned this is gone to far for me i am sorry. this is ignorance. get down off your high horses and seek knowledge

who say's negro anymore sis? your accusing others of ignorance yet you used an ignorant term and then generalized about a whole group of people.

You really have been so much helpful, brothers and sisters. Only Allah, the Exalted, could aptly reward, which I hope and pray He will. May He bless us all.

BTW, there is an urgent need for us Muslims all over the world to stand up and fight back the always fighting done by haters of Islam especially on the internet. These guys seem to never get tired; they frantically search for any things, take and start using in the wrong way, for e.g. those ahadeeth. There are many more stuff like this.

Thanks once again.

Salam.
