If my life was a word
It would be boring
I almost wish I were a bird
So I could go soaring

Up into the sky
Where no one would find me
I'd be contented & high
Free as one can be
 
probably the shortest poem i have ever seen but it still packs a punch
 
Hahahahah I never really considered it short.
I've read shorter poems.
Anyway it's silly & nothing too serious.
 
:sl: Nice poem. A correction. The shortest of literature poem is the couplet. Two lines whose ends ryhme Ex:
My life has wasted in tears.
I also lived it in fear.
 
aww is that really the shortest?
I'm disappointed at the lack of optimism hahah but it's very realistic :)
