Just a random thought i was having and needed advice/opinions...
Situation: im simply sick of people mocking/degrading the niqaab/burka and coming up with rubbish like it's oppressive, it isn't part of Islam its all part of the extreme wahbi saudi regime

so i want to (somehow) refute them and have come up with some ideas on how to go about it.
im thinking one way to go about it is to have a debate but im not exactly sure what to touch upon/debate about. however I have come up with the following ideas that may be of use in a debate of this nature...
*since some people argue that there isn’t an ayah/hadith which mentions that the niqaab (and even the hijaab) is necessary, then explaining from linguistic/fiqhi point of view needs to be discussed.
*If that is to come up, then im thinking that may take the argument further that men (since most-if not all-our ulamaa are men) use the quran and sunnah for their own benefit and use it as an excuse to degrade women. therefore how do we know that they arent using these verses/hadiths to their advantage.
thats about it :hiding: im sure there is like 50 other things to discuss and this is where i need your help! what would someone arguing against the hijaab/niqaaab come up with to support there claim that it has no basis in Islam?
what would someone who is debating pro niqaab use to support the claim that the niqaab is acceptable?
also, has anybody had any experience in debates such as these. what were the "moods" like? i mean was it easy, hard, nerve racking? were any surprise questions pulled out? how did you deal with them? Did you feel that your emotions got the better of you? how do you deal with your emotions not getting the better of you. How did you prevent it.
