can parents kill their son if marries a woman of his choice ?

Are honor killings allowed in islam . Do parents have a right to kill their son if he gets married against their wishes ?

No and no. This warped and sick mentality of honour killings has nothing to do with Islam, its cultural and indeed a wicked act. In Islam were taught if one human being kills another, its as if he has killed the whole of humanity and one who saves a person, its as if he has saved the whole of humanity. Islam is perfect in every sense, unfortunately Muslims are not.

there is no such verse in holy Quran or no such authentic hadith that says so .

beats me that parents will kill a son for marrying someone agaisnt their wishes while they didnt kill this son when he inflicted pain during labor and coming out. :S
 
I hope ts isn't a parent considering such a thing.
