Can't Follow Sleeping sunnah!

But I recall sis Umm Hyatt saying that it was a weak Hadeeth? :?

But sis Al-Mu'minah showed us a hadeeth which said that it was deemed as Saheeh by Sheikh al-albani.

Hmmm........I need to look up on this Insha'allah ......

I see!! I had some fawaa'id on this when we studied Adab AL-Mufrad, but I dont have it.. InshaAllah it shall be arriving in a coupe of days!!

or on a nice soft thick carpet's good too..

No sis, on the floor floor.......sometimes I spread out a blanket under me, but as long as the floor is not tiled (too cold) or just dirt (too dirty) then I can sleep without a sheet or blanket or carpet :giggling:

I Think that the hadeeth umm hayaatt mentioned that was weak was "do not sleep on your stomach for verily that is how the shaytaan sleeps."

theres a weak person in the isnaad..saef ibn abdurrahman or something like that. I"ll look it up again inshaAllah.

Thank God for that!

and even now, from I have woken up, with a very very very bad neck, I'v been referred to fizio etc, but I thought it was to do with my car accident, but surely sleeping on my front isn't doin me any favors, I think too much on my back, and I get wind when im on my side!! But it changez randomly, sorta from year to year, Inshallah Im gonna try and sleep in a different way! My pillowz flat like, but still!

Your pillow aint suppose 2 b too flat as your head ends up lower than ur body making ur neck bend at a funny angle. Why don't you invest in a Tempur pillow (£30). Or just buy a decent feather pillow

I learnd in the mosque, that we shoodnt sleep on our frontz, coz itz like an animal, who sleepz on their belly!!?? Dont know if thatz rite like!
