Changes.........

I just noticed (been gone a few days) that some of are mods aren't mods anymore! I understand that under new management things will always change. But it would be nice for the community to be notified of such things. I know that many of us have a "go to" mod that we trust to answer our questions and help if we need it. If they aren't going to be able to help then I think we have a right to know. Also I have noticed in the past few weeks that a lot of mods have changed their names. It would be most helpful if they could post in the name change thread of what their new name is or perhaps have it under their new name. Cause I don't know about everyone else.............but I am confused!!!!!!
 
Okay, just for informational purposes.


Sis Jawharah has left her position as supermod. She's now a member.

Bro Alpha Dude has left his position as a Moderator.

Bro ↔ has changed his nick, although it was known as Al Madani before.


I've changed my nick to - Qatada - and i was known as Fi_Sabilillah before.

But we have more trainee mods now, there nicks are in teal.


erm.. i think that's about it. If there are anymore changes, i'll mention insha Allaah (God willing.)


Some mods may be on holiday for a little while, so they may not all respond if you were to PM them or something. They usually say their away under their nick title, so that might be a sign.

Mods are mods i guess we not really interfering with mods and how they do their work we leave it as it be :)

Thank you brother for clearing that up. I know that there have been some issues with other small changes. It is good for the community to know that it was not a change made by the new administration.
 
:sl: Why do people change their nicks??? It's so frustrating. I was just looking through my PMs today and noticed a bunch of messages from someone I don't even know. But when I read through 3 or 4 of them I finally noticed that it was a person I know but under a different name. I also never would've guessed that -Qatada- was Fi_Sabilillah...I just got used to the old name.

I know I for one will never change my nick isa...just makes things way too confusing.
