no point in stealing becasue it is haram and when you cheat, i put it this way, like a shadow it follows you for the rest of your life
hope that is clearer
wasalam

cheating on tests should not be compared with real cheating ex. cheating someone and leave him/her without money and causing them real troubles
I think cheating on test can be like food, it is haram to steal, but in certain conditions it's not haram to do that.People sometimes are just stressed out,and they don't do it to harm anybody, they just do to get out of the situation they are, and usually in elementary school, highschool this is done, bc you are still sometime afraid to tell your parents that you got a C in some subject.

Selam

Salaam

Anyone who cheats is doing harm to themselves and anyone else they may effect such as employers, follow uni applicants, parants, also when cheating lies also come with it.

when there is war as far as I know it allowed to steal(take) food...etcetc ..this is as far as I know

Salaam.

Can we close this topic please? It seems that we have some Muslims who like to encourage foul and disliked acts.

Lol
I Can See My Thoughts Aint Wanted Here But I Repeat I Dont See Anything Wrong With It...... I Coudlnt Have Passed Urdu With A "c" Without It.....

:sl:

Remember that it isnt only Allah who is watching you when you cheat, there are two angels as well who are recording every little thing you are doing. Fear Allah, and do not cheat nor steal.

Question :

What is the ruling on students cheating in tests at school?.

Answer :

Praise be to Allaah.

The hadeeth, “Whoever cheats us is not one of us” is saheeh, and it is general in meaning, including cheating in buying and selling, in giving advice, and in promises and covenants, in trusts, in exams in schools and institutes, and so on. That includes copying out material from books, taking answers from other students and giving them answers, whether spoken or written down on papers passed among them.

And Allaah is the Source of strength.

Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 12/200

Arent we not suppose to talk about our sins? ;)
Well I dont think anyone should say whether or not they have cheated. It is between you and God (swt).
Peace.
