First of all, I am very familiar with that article you posted, and just the name alone should tell you it is a Hate site.
If you want to learn about Islam, not to revert, but to gain knowledge, then go to reputable Islamic sites. You wouldn't go to a french class to learn english.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links here, but if you click on my signature, you'll find an excellent site full of information and articles as well as links to many other reputable sites.
There are many articles on this forum as well that you could study.
Just because an article is aggressive, doesn't mean it's accurate. I've seen Islamic sites that claim Christians pray to 3 gods and Christian sites that claim Muslims pray to a moon god. Both claims are ridiculous. Go and learn the truth about Islam, then decide for yourself what you don't accept or don't like, or whatever and I would be more than happy to talk about any of them.
Actually, I am very familiar with the Bible as I was a Christian before I reverted. I don't believe I am the one blinded. I have respect for the Bible because at one time it did contain the words of God, but unfortunately, it has become so corrupt, the true words are lost.
I am nowhere near an expert on the DDS and I am continuing my studies with that....very objectively I might add. The parts I have encountered so far that talks specifically about practicing religion, (as of yet, there have been very little), is more in line with how Muslims practice. Does that mean there are not fragments that agree with the Torah, for example? Of course not. Remember, all 3 faiths worship the same God, all 3 faiths believe in revelation of previous prophets....but have I found anything, yet, that talks about Blood Atonement, Crucifixion, Original Sin.....not one word. I'm only 1/2 way through the best book I've found so far, so I'll keep you posted if something does come up. The DDS are a very complicated issue and people are led to believe that these are wonderful scrolls that match verses exactly....that's not the case at all. What people don't realize is that there are more that are missing....the fragments are very small and very few were written after Jesus, pbuh. As I said, when and if I come across some, I will let you know.
If you would like to continue speaking, using your own mind and logic, rather than resorting to copying and pasting from those types of sites, I would be more than happy to continue. Maybe you can tell me first what it is I'm blinded to?
But, I'll answer tomorrow, as it's very late and I have to work tomorrow.
