Clarification needed

Quran says that semen is created from between the male’s backbone and his ribs. Modern science, however, tells us that semen comes from the testicles. So how come the Quran describes the emission of gushing water as coming from between the back and the ribs? Could someone clarify this?
 
Can you please provide your references? I mean since you read it in the quran and all.

-in 86:6-7 it states that "He was created from a fluid, ejected,Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs."
