consider this... another poem

[Ummu Sufyaan]

consider this:
consider whats compared to a clenched fist

in the deep sea it survives
even against the strongest of tides

and yet it doesn't know how to swim
why would it, considering its got no limbs?

turning is its constant situation
always changing from its previous decision

so, here it is stuck in the midst of the sea
sadness, hate, happiness, frustration and fury

raging through it unrelentlessly
BUT, would you believe, even against this, it swims so calmly

one would think it would have, or perhaps even already drowned
but despite these conditions, its still very safe and sound

they say there's no pain worse then an inner disharmony
I agree, but whats even more funny

through all the relentlessness of this tide
yet nothing can drown it, except physical strife

hence hes a liar, the man who says
that the hearts are not in the hands of ar-Rahmaan
