we gotta stop exposing our bullseyes
clear shots for shaytaan to come reap his prize
he keeps whisperin lies, n it affects our heart
we feelin somethin we shudnt, we fallin apart
so wat do we do, its a catastrophe
we cant take these little problems,
we end up goin on a whining spree,
we're a buncha little hoodlums cant even open our eyes to see,
this lifes full of deception, so i say check yourself and check your intentions...

I'm sorry, but I have to be honest
It's not like we're perfect, no,
We've got more faults than you can believe,
A kiddo from the ghetto,
Has a more perfect English teeth
Compared to your "practicing" deen...

beaten and humiliated
they're not victims of war...
why then don't the agressors see?
That its innocent until proven guilty
nothing and nobody can ignore the fact
that peace and justice is where it's at!

but when the heat starts beatin i gotta wonda can i?
wheres my seat, jannah or jahanna... naa i dont wanna finish that sentence
hence i keep creatin excuses,
do deeds to start earnin applauses in Allahs court,
heh wat sort of boy am i when i cant even keep things under control,
sometimes feel like a doll on strings,
another stat for the polls strollin through life like it leads nowhere but,
i seek refuge coz im a refugee in Allahs presence
see things gettin intense and im losing all sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

laughable when your eye to eye,
feelings like my oh my,
temparatures rising and lips getting dry,
ridiculous how hard at times you try,
we kno from the one above the sky,
this lifes a test now dont deny,
friendships turn into relationships now i see you cry,
funny that we been warned from the beautiful lips
of our prophet, may Allah elevate him really high,
feelings are fleeting and desires lead to the fire,
the criers crying out avoid disaster, look straight, see the danger,
you've come as a stranger, 2 second moments arent worth jannah...

Slowly slowly I am realising.....the reality of life....
I'm going to die... That's a reality you can't deny.
yesterday I felt immortal,
next time i looked upon the sky I felt death nearby
Somebody gets shoot, another one commits suicide,
Homicide has become a random thing,
Making us all seem as the next victims.

At times I feel as blood never will stop flowing,
Turning away to stop mourning
Making me realize how much is going on in this dunya,
What a small part a play,
How many pages are left to turn?
The book is near it's end,
I still will have to pay my debts,
Must stop to sin and get going some halal things.

I won't escape, nobody will
Maffia, terrorists,
Nonsense talking politics,
Everything will come to an end,
The limits will cross their lines,
Doors to two worlds will open up and welcome you in,
All I can say my friend,
This is the promise of the end.

treasure every single second as if its your last
dont know when deaths hands will touch diminishing our past
time spent will now be realised, fruitful? fruitless?
our time we compromised
too much, its such that we let ourselves go
lost sight of whats important, fakely calling each others bro
this poetry has purpose, you will come to know
when 6 feet under, surely, u will come to know...

The reality of this fleeting life
should always be in mind
The sweet sakinah coming from sabr
sis, its one of a kind

so have patience sis,
coz Allah knows and cares
That fact alone should be sufficient
to dispell all your despairs...

Allaah has creates us insaan for one purpose
We must keep our emaan faith and realise our status
A temporary abode, a temporary state
to Allah we'll return, decided is the date..

I dont think I'l be able to rhyme this but I just wanted to say...Allah should be sufficient for us, I can't count the number of times I've been SO close to losing hope, but then think...Allah KNOWS...how can I doubt that, and if He knows...its obvious He's not giving me this calamity without reason, He's making me undergo it for a reason, and maybe that reason is to give you a better akhiraah Insha'Allah.

Sheikh, Imaam Anwar al Awlaki, hafidha hullah, had stated that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala places burden upon burden upon a believer, test after test, this is not to grieve the believer ! rather it is to build a case for him so that in yawmal qiyaamah he will have much evidence to enter the highest of jannatul firdaus.

Allah places luxury upon luxury upon a disbeliever, he is covered by dunya, this is not because Allah loves him, rather it is to build a case against him, so that he goes to akhirah and see;s nothing, as he had it all in dunya.

Allah built a case against firawn to throw him in the depths of fire, when a man stabs a messenger, or an awliyaa like Umar radhiallahu anhu, it is a case to send umar to the highest jannah, and firawn to the lowest of hellfire (aswell as the one who stabbed umar radhiallahu anhu)

It's coz we've been created in such a way
that we make mistakes, this flawed creation
commiting sins without hesitation
But the best of sinners i think is he
Who makes mistakes...
But repents with sincerity
vowing never to make the same mistake
Praise Allah every morning he wakes...

your sins are a drop in the oceans of his infinite
taubah is your key to success

:salamext: Look at the prophets, they went through sooo much subhanAllah! but not because Allah hated them! Laa! no! rather the opposite! So, Whatever you go through, its because Allah loves you and wants better for, and Allah does not overburden any soul. :w:

dont ask why...
for the state ur in

take it as it is
add patience to ur patience.
hes holding ur life-
in his hands is ur existence.

give him more than just words-
show him u are glad
to embrace all good and all bad...
all is from him..all is for u.

now go and be happy
this life was not for misery
but serenity...
breath in all halal
expel the haraam
keep him at heart and mind
and you shall be his pride.
