Re: rhymes (Islamic)
Indeed it is when you begin to pray
That you'll feel this way.
Respecting your mother...
Honouring your father.
When he started yelling, I yelled back,
We fought a war, Veiled from the rest,
This was just our own little test.
Words of ignorance and arrogance exploded,
Had he but known,
Every accusation I had thrown
Weren't directed to him,
but to me-
Weak Emaan,
You bad, bad Shaytaan.
Again and again,
One day I'll make you go insane.
Days flew by, Sorrow filled by heart
Far away in my mind, the following words came to life
"None of your prayers is accepted
if your parents have been badly affected"
So forgiveness I asked from Lord, and went to my father's home
I kneeled to him and said I'm sorry,
In tears we spoke.
He said and grabbed my young hand, holding it close to his eldery heart
"You are my daugther but you're not just mine,
To Allah we've submitted, those of our kind.
Shaytaan is trying to take over your life,
But remember he's weaker than The Most Just.
Everthing you do, I've already forgiven,
You're my little sunshine,
That what makes it worth living."
I smiled and said
Thank you for just exisiting,
I hope,
This love I have
Will always last and that I'll never,
Escape from this path.

sorry, that was long and a bit ambiguous, as I tried too much to put my feelings in words.
By the way, mashaAllah, you guys are so fab!! I love this thread.
