Re: rhymes (Islamic)
I wish i just knew how to harden my heart to it
I wish I wouldn't need to go through this.
But wishing hasn't put me far, I'm gonna take action and dodge a fall
Whenever I see fitna and sins, I'll repent until I win.
They say it's OK, this is how we're made
But nay, I came not to life to fight with a knife
Won't accept your killings, won't accept the lies
So go and get yourself a life,
Don't steal those of others and claim this was the price,
For peace and justice to exist in this world,
You took even their last rice.
You know what I've heard,
You went back home, and they took you in your arms,
Telling the neighbourhood stories of your adventures,
Saying our son is a hero, part of this glorious nation!
Hugging and kissing,
Admiring you from near and far,
But at night, when you sit alone in the dark
You see them there, you hear their voices thinking they're here,
Remember the blood, that run through their veins?
Remember the girl you took and raped?
Remember her brother, they shoot in the head?
And their father, begging to Lord for help?
They say it wasn't easy for them,
War isn't easy to anyone of our men.
But tell me why do it harder than it already is?
Why bother to claim this your victory,
When it isn't even a bit,
Use your grip.
