Is it mentioned in their book to eat and drink filth like cow urine and cow dung ? Was it a commandment from God ?
No it's something which is man made and has been incorporated into the culture over the centuries of its existence. The Cow is generally considered ''sacred'' by the Hindu people because of it's vital component to society and agricultural sustainance.
