...and spelling, and punctuation and just about everything else you can think of!

In many cases there are so many exceptions to a rule that it's hardly worth having the rule in the first place.

How many times have we heard this spelling "rule" for words with an 'ee' sound: "'i' before 'e' except after 'c'"? Next time someone mentions it to you, point them in the direction of these words:
