Dear brothers and sisters,

I am interested in stories where a person was in a difficult situation and asked for Allah s.w.t help and it came true.

Please share your story with us.

Sokran.

Salam alaykum

This is about dua made for me, not actually my own dua.

Once I had problems in work with one workmate. He couldn´t stand me at all and working with him was very complicated. This had continued for many days. At one day I told about this situation to one friend who said she will make dua for me that things will resolve. At the next morning when I went to work, others told me that this workmate had came to work earlier than usually and told he will lay off the job and leave (because of me). When I went to work, I found out that my problem was over. I felt it was because of dua of my friend.

Dua is a blessing and I can't count the number of times that my dua has accepted

There are times my dua was accepted instantly and I saw results and there are other times my dua has been accepted but with different results, the results Allah gave me are better than what I asked him

One lesson I learned is we need to try our best and ask Allah and you need to have patience

There will be things that I like but it might me bad for me and I might dislike something that's good for me, Only Allah know on what's best for me

As-salāmu ʿalaykum

Yes brother, my dua came true! It happened recently when I was so hopeless because our beloved house in a really bad condition. I was so desperate to the extent that I might do something unforgivable. But thanks to the support I got from this forum, I tried to stay strong and pray to Allah. And guess what happens the next day? The problem is solved somehow, albeit temporarily. But I can always try hard to fix our condition (hopefully it will be a permanent solution) later while also pray more to Allah :statisfie

Greetings and peace be with you all,

I am so pleased to read about your answered duas. I have also experienced answered prayers.

A few years ago, I had tests done for cancer, about a month later the doctor phoned and said he urgently wanted to see me, it was non – Hodgkin Lymphoma. This was a name I recognised, our friend had this cancer, and died a few months later. I prayed for the wisdom, strength, peace and serenity to do God’s will, whether the cancer was a death sentence, or just an inconvenience. I can only say that from the moment of making this prayer, I have experienced a profound sense of peace, and the thought of cancer has never troubled me for a moment.

Cancer could be a truly worrying process, you wait a month or two for tests, you wait for the results, and you wait for more tests, but the prayer to do God’s will sort of handed the problem to God, and I have never had to worry. I have never once prayed for healing, at the age of 62, the prayer for healing seemed too complicated, it might or might not be my time to go. Recognising this profound sense of peace comes from God, gives me reason to be thankful.

I could not imagine this sense of peace without a faith and trust in God. I can say, from the moment of hearing about my cancer and making that prayer, I could talk about cancer in the same way as I talk about what’s for dinner?

In the spirit of praying to a God of power and might,

Eric
