I like reading the threads and seeing all the past users on the forums and how they all answered the questions differently.

Do you miss any users from LI? Who do you miss the most?
Would you like to say something to them?

Now that we have this thread after the burial of the "missing members" thread, I think I should point out that sister Ummu Sufyan has been missing from action from a long time, and her signature is very scary, to say the least. When I joined the forums back in 2009, she was a very active member, and all her responses were so full of wisdom. Few days ago, I even asked sister شَادِنُ about her. Even she didn't have any idea. I hope she's well, and in the best of health, and having a good time with her husband and children inshaAllah.

It is quite scary to know Muslims who just vanish out of the blue. I have a particular reason for that. During last year's Ramadaan, in the Indian state of Assam, Muslims were being persecuted, their houses were burned down which resulted in thousands being homeless, and a lot of people even losing their lives. One of my close friends had a friend who was a Muslim and who lived in Assam. On multiple occasions, my friend tried to contact her, but the call never got through. According to him, he used to speak to her at least once every month to know how things were going on her end, he has been trying to contact her but to no avail. I don't know when was the last time he tried. I don't think there has been any progress, because if there was then he would have told me.

Salaam.

Maybe we should have a "Farewell" thread for those brothers and sisters on this forums who part ways and may not be replying on this forums anymore. Just a tip.

Scary things do happen to people. May Allah protect us all.

Inshallah everyone who parted ways with this forums is still doing alright. I'm going to leave to soon out of the blue.
