Sister Search, she speaks like a poet, has knowledge like a scholar, and I miss her posts, may Allah protect her wherever she is..I wonder why she disabled her account, I was devastated when I saw that she requested to disable her account..

I am missing many sisters. Before sisters were much more active and now mostly no sisterly talking at all.

Maybe because they have jobs, families, studyings and don't have time for chating? You can try to contact them privately in this website. I'm pretty sure it does not bother them. You can tell them you miss them and they will understand you. In fact, you can discuss with about creating a whatsapp group where only you can talk all you want at any time which is much easier than here. What you say?

Even the Sister you quoted hasn't been active in a year. lol

But yes, I made this thread so long ago. Crazy how much life has changed. Members have come and gone. Mods have left and made way to newer ones.

With life, family, friends, school, etc. Life get's busy. I understand the reasons many users have left IB and make dua that Islam is still in their hearts.
 
Have you guys thought about advertising Islamicboard? Many people, even the people I know are not aware of this forum and its gems. If we advertise or tell people about it, we can have a larger base and large base gives us more resources so that way we can develop this website more and add more functions and this way, help more people or give more dawa?
 
I miss reading the posts of Maulana Huzaifah ibn Adam. Also the journey of [MENTION=37755]DanEdge[/MENTION] with the Qur'an.

What about Emir-Stein Center? That is way cooler than DanEdge. Also, you can check it out Trovia Singer, who is a Jewish Rabbi and he has a YouTube channal and his YouTube channal is based on his name. I have myself subscribed to him and I see many cool things in his videos and he even have confirmed that Christianity is idoltrous and not Islam and neither Judaism. He is very honest Jewish scholar. And he even have confirmed that Christians are childish people and very ignorant in their speech in some of his videos when they were talking about Islam. Trovia Singer have spanged Christians[emoji28][emoji28][emoji28]

We had tried advertising a few years ago but we feel word-of-mouth advertising is more effective. These days most people prefer other social media outlets over discussion forums.
 
Hmmm maybe we can start again? However advertise in local mosques. I can try going to some mosques and spreading more info about it. Would you guys be more interested in reviving it again?
