Do you use a miswak?

I started using one a few months ago, but I have a question regarding care for the miswak:

Are you supposed to cut off a new tip after a period of time in order to maintain "freshness"?

Yes, once the taste and stuff fades off.

I just started using mine last week and try to whenever I remember.

u kinda have to remove the outer layer with a blade or something so that you can make "bristles" cos it wont work if you don't do that
