yes that was what i was thinking, but u know names are sometimes adapted from words, so in the beginning it might have been an-nisa, but then it developed into anisa, but i dont want to sound like an arab scholar on languages, dont take my word for it

may i please remind very 1 that the 'saab' bit in my name isnt actually my real name - it means friend in urdu.

I dont know the exact definition of my name because there are so many variations of it e.g.: amir, amar, ameer, aamir, etc.

the emphasis in my name is on the A - that is why there is two A's

the female version is probably Ameera. or Aamira.hehe
