salaam
from mandems understandin lailat bharaat = the miraaj
we should be worshippin Allah (swt) anyway, no one during the Prophets (sal Allah hu aleyhi wasalam) time celebrated the miraaj and neither did the sahaba, so neither do we need too![]()
for us its the night between monday and tuesday(next week)....ummm for london tho its the night between tuesday and wednessday (as far as ive heard from east london)....basically 15th sha'baan.....(i thinkkk thats right^)
does any one know when laitul- bharat is? i know there are ppl out there who say it's wrong. but i think is it wrong to be worshipping for Allahs sake? to get some reward? there are some ppl who hardly make any effort towards worship maybe they can gain some reward this night? anyway Allah knows best. and can someone plz answer my 1st question.
wasalaam
na rokhtho, the miraaj - laylatul mi'raaj,
laylatul baraat - somethin else :shade:
and akhee, start acceptin differences of opinion, it'll do u good
say , the opinion i accept accordin to ::: if u gnna say somethin![]()
, this is not a matter of difference of opinion, the prophet (saw) did not do it, nor did he ask anyone to do it, nor did the noble campanions do it. If you can show any sahih hadith that they did, i would love to see it.

as for that, there is no sahih hadith.. weak and fabricated yes but sahih?
There are many other narrations from the Companions and early Muslims confirming this matter, as mentioned by Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali in his Lataif al-Ma`arif, and others.
There is general consensus that weak hadiths may be acted upon for virtuous acts, such as voluntary fasting and prayer, as long as the hadith is not excessively weak, returns to a general basis in the Shariah, and one is not convinced that the Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) specifically prescribed it.
ukhtee fil islam is a sahih hadeeth required when so many past scholars have agreed to the merits of this night?
