Does Islam Intend to Conquer the World?

Is it not true that if you follow a lie (e.g. one single false hadith) as "obligatory", you are a hypocrite?


“And who is more unjust than one who forges a lie against Allah, or gives the lie to the truth when it has come to him? Will not in hell be the abode of the unbelievers?”

Assalaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Islam does not intend to conquer the world.Islam intends to conquer the hearts and minds of humanity to lead them eternal happiness!

(This is just about the title question)

Some Muslims think otherwise brother Selsebil. They believe there is an offensive Jihad which is to attack non-muslim countries neighbouring an Islamic state if they reject becoming Muslim or submit to Muslim rule. Even if the non-muslim country means no harm, if they reject the options then offensive Jihad applies. This scenario is repeated till the world is conquered.
