Go on to this website: http://keepvid.com/

Paste in the address for the video from youtube, select 'Youtube' from the drop down menu and click on 'Download'. After that a list should appear below with links to download the video.

Sis download "VLC" player. Just type that in google. You can open it up in that :)

salaam, i downloaded that vlc thing but the sound is whacked out, its not clear at all. argggggggg im getting stressed.

Sorry I forgot to say, you'll have to convert the file.

You can use this program called "Super". Right click for the menu to appear, and add the files. Once you've added the file(s) you want to convert change the format you want to convert it to at the top. If you have trouble ask brother Dawud to help inshaa'Allah.

Another way, if you have firefox rather then microsoft internet explorer you can install add-ons that allow downloading embedded files such as video's or even flash games.

easier way... just go to temporary internet files and search for *.flv

and it will show u the video files and copy them to wherever u want :D

ok here's how it goes... it might seem long, but alot of these settings are 'one off' and after u do it first time it only takes seconds to do it....


firstly, download this, it lets you play the files on ur comp...

second of all, in internet explorer, go to 'tools' then 'internet options' and 'delete files' ...

then go to youtube, and watch the video u wanna copy 2ur computer... (make sure u let it load completely so it can be fully saved on to ur comp).

[btw the above two steps are just 2make it easier 4 u... once u do this successfully ill tell u the bits u dont need2do in future]

first of all... make sure you can view hidden files, to do that:


1. Go to Control Panel, Folder Options , 'View' tab,
make sure you tick 'show hidden fiels and foldesr' and untick 'hide protected operating system files' .

2. Go to My Computer , C Drive, Documents and Settings.

Click the folder that has the name of your computer username that u login with (in zAks case zakiyyah for xample :X...) ..Then...

3. Go to Local Settings , Temporary Internet Files (aha!)

4. Click on search (or press F3) and search for *.flv

it will reveal all the youtube videos... drag it on to your desktop.. and open it, should work :D

my advise is.. make a shortcut to 'temp internet files' on your desktop so u dont hav to go thru all these instructions 2 get there..... coz half the instruction is how 2 get to it :p

the bits in quotes are one off things, once u done them u dont need 2 them again in future.


its real ezy, lemme knwo if u got ne probz with it... trust me tis nto hard inshalah.

^^ Go the the site. Paste in the video's link and press OK or whatever button they got there. Then you'll see 3 options. One for FLV, one for AVI and one for MP4. Right click and save whichever one you want. The most universal out of the 3 is the AVI file format. :)
