Dreams?

I have often heard that people have saw the prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) in their dreams. Can someone give me some evidence from the Qur'an or Sunna supporting this theory because i am abit confused by this, thanks.

I forgot to mention that these people are from this day and age, i.e. my uncle. I dont mean people like like the Sahaba.

check sahi bukhari you will get what you are looking for there few sahi hadees. if someone sees Pophet in his dream he has seen the prophet himself shaitan cannot come in dreams and say i am prophet

i am not sure about any prophet but he cannot pretend Prophet Mohommad pbuh

i heard that If your imaan is strong by the heart, saitan cannot influence you.
