How much pactise did you take before becoming a confident driver

yes I was !!!! its the new car that a driving company gets so i was interested :D
 
Wow... first off, isn't it rather big for a learner's car?

Secondly, it's got bloody 6 gears! How powerful is that for a first time drive? :D

yeah it sure looks big and diffucult to handle but it looks AWESOME innay!

Ive got THREE companies that im interested in.
that means I can choose between three cars :D

the Opel Astra looks not that bad and its not that big as that BMW..
 
well as for me .. im still takin lessons cuz i suck in the highway which apparently is suppose to be the easiest thing and i cant managed to go through with out getting scared from the huge truck ( which is like soooo far away from me).. i keep thinkin its gonna crash into me LOL .. and during that time i cant change my lines. :-( !
 
Driving. My test is this Friday *teeth chatter* I've driven with my parents all over town for lots of hours. I can't parallel park or reverse back into parking. Something I think I can hopefully learn a couple hours before the test.

what do you mean by 30 hour lessons with a driving instructor? jeez, doesn't that cost alot?

^^ £21 a lesson...times it by 30 = £630 I think :exhausted

Yes it does :exhausted

I think im gonna take 24 lessons + "Practise" Exam + "Real" Exam that means around €1180 :skeleton:
but they are one of the best here and said that i have an higher chance that i will pass at the first try....InshaAllah

I think most people in the UK get their licenses later than Americans do. In America, you can hardly survive without a car. roads, roads, roads. That's why drinking laws are more strict here than they are in Europe. Drunk driving is a major issue here. i digress. I only took 6 hours of lessons and 30-35 hours of class in "theory." I can imagine driving in European cities is much more difficult in driving in suburbs or even American cities. The rest my dad taught me. That probably saves a lot of money, but not that much stress lol. In the lessons are the cars at least specially equipped or something? I mean the driving school I took lessons at had an extra steering wheel and brake in the passenger seat.

Good thing they don't. I was such a bad driver. -_-. oh man.

We have buses but their stops are still like 4 to 5 miles from my house (but I'm lucky lol).
 
there's one every block here but i can't remember the last time i went on one, the people on it just make you want to disapear :hmm:
 
I love buses...sitting upstairs right at the back with my hoody up, rehearsing my rhymes ...enjoying my company :)
 
The buses where I live no one talks lol. It's silence. We all stare the windows. But I guess I ride when everyone is riding home from work. Need that peace prolly.
