Will a dua written on paper addressed to Allah be accepted? I haven't done this yet but I just had the idea and haven't found whether or not it's okay. I just feel I would find that much easier than saying with words, I find expressing myself easier by typing or writing than speaking aloud. Actually I'm quite rubbish at expressing myself while speaking.

Main problem I can think of is what to do with the paper afterwards. Burning it seems the best thing but it's unnecessary smoke nuisance and unnecessary pollution.

If you don't want to burn them, keep them in a diary perhaps? A diary you can write your dreams, hopes, fears, etc. to Allah, the All-Knowing. I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't be "allowed".

Why not do them on wordpad and save them in a file on you computer? When the time ever comes they need to be kept from wrong hands simply delete the file. You can also save the file on a flash drive, or a CD if you desire to preserve them.

I never thought of using notepad although it would have been obvious, thanks for the suggestion! Hahaha...
