Du'a Request Thread...

Salaam

as long as non-Muslims are alive , we are allowed to pray for them .

And Allah Knows Best.

AS salamu aleykum

It is not permissible to pray for good for a kaafir, because he does not deserve it.
You can only pray for their guidance!! Just read the fatawa and this is what Shaikh Jibrin says:
She can pray for him to be guided to Islam, then if he becomes Muslim, she can pray for him to be healed. But if he persists in his kufr, he does not deserve to have du’aa’ made for him to get better. At the same time, she should still treat him kindly by doing other good things for him, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning)

I really do not understand you why you want to pray for a KAAFIR!!

Asalamu Alekum

Sister in Islam, it is written in the Holy Quran that no believer was to ever pray for a disbeliever. A believer can't ask Allah to forgive or have mercy on disbelievers but can pray for them that they be guided to the right path(if there is hope) and Allah knows best.

Asalamu alekum

School's starting Monday and then I also have Taraweeh at night. I'm a bit nervous and anxious about it all. Alhamdulillah, first 5 nights of taraweeh have been fairly well but I implore you for your duas that I am able to perfect my recitation overall and upkeep with my studies with flying colors as well.

Jazakumullahu Khair!

Please remember my Grandfather in your prayers.
Yesterday, he fell down and today, he fainted whilst fasting  We were forced to make him break his fast while he was still semi-conscious with Zamzam, but he has no recollection of it and won't hear of not fasting, or of missing a single rakah of Taraweeh prayer behind the Imam, or even to pray them sitting down when it's obviously so difficult for him imsad
As soon as he was fully awake, the first thing he did was praise Allah that he was still fasting. When we tried telling him otherwise, he thought we were just trying to get him to break it when he was 'fine' imsad
He's well into his 80s.
Please do try and remember him in your prayers.

Jazakumullah a7sanal jazaa'.

May Allah grants what is best for his hereafter.

It reminds us that there is no gurantee we will leave long . Many Muslims don't offer salat regularly , do not perform Hajj . They beleive they will be able to do these when become old .
