Assalamu Alaykum,

I am intending to start an e-Newsletter. It's just an idea floating in the back of my head, so I thought I'd speak out on it and get an estimate headcount of how many would participate in accomplishing this project.

Basically, we need a few writers, possibly some designers, and perhaps even a few managers to handle each section. I'm thinking of Spirituality, General Advice, Book Reviews, Creative Writing, etc. It'll be in PDF form.

Again, just an idea being thrown out. You might be wondering who'd subscribe. Well, first of all, it IS free. And secondly, I'd like to safely say that I have a list of 20,000 people (contacts from previous emails I used to send out etc) who'd subscribe. You can say 10K just to be safe. Insha'Allah!

So please post your thoughts, feedback, suggestions, and if you are interested in assisting. And of course, we need a name for it as well.

Is it an islamicboard e-newsletter? Or just a general islamic newsletter?

I may be able to write in the future inshaAllah, maybe when uni gets going.. I haven't written properly for ages and my writing sucks at the moment.

May I also just add that although you are ambitious mashaAllah and have loads of ideas in your head just waiting to happen, don't go all nuts at once. Take one thing at a time, get it going, then move to the next. Trust me, if -God forbid- it all comes crashing down, it won't be pretty..:><:

Anyway, I like the idea! InshaAllah things will work out!

@ Crayon: Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Alhamdulillah, though, in the past few days, I've been receiving lots of help. I found a new manager for Jannah Studios, another brother Insha'Allah will be ravamping the Road to Jannah site, etc. I don't plan to run this newsletter every month. Most likely it'll be bimonthly. And, I don't expect it to start running until after Ramadhan. But yeah, Jazakallah for the advice. Sometimes I really do have to slow down. :X

@ PK#2: Be glad you don't send out mails to this forum. I got like a hundred responses yesterday. :X

Alrighty! I'm looking towards actual drawings for the Art section, through scanning. Not looking for web art.

Anything except for animation or images of people etc. I'm looking towards more abstract or Islamic or something. But anything, really. Nature, etc.

Alhamdulillah, I admire Art. But we need writing help lol. Yep, we need editors as well, Jazakallah for remembering! Slipped my mind.

If you are interested in helping, just put your username down next to something or some things you'd like to do. For example "Faith. - Art" or "Transition? - Art/Writing" etc.
