well i'll tell u a little about it. Here in east London, every ramadan we have a radio station (but just for that month *sad*). its run by the London Muslim Centre (East London Mosque). the radio station is absouloutly beautyful...& i mean its really good. because every ramadan it attracts all the muslim from all over that country, specially london. & the beautyful thing is, the audience are of all ages...toddlers to elderlys. there are so many sections within MCR (muslim radio station) such as....(cnt recall full names..lol) sisters only (1hr), childres show...they have fun & competitions , YMO, etc etc...and also 'easy talk' late at night till 2am>....

Easy-talk tries to welcome all the young youth's of UK to adults. their main purpose is to discuss 'current affair's' and come up with a solution.... as well as be very easy going about it. the reason why easy talk attracts a lot of listeners (mainly all the youth's) is because of how funny the brothers who host it are. they also have a lot of competitions (last yr they had late night tressure hunt....wer brothers wer zooming around in their car and looking for the tressures to win 1 yr free access to LMC haya fitness...while we sisters wer listening to them enjoy it...*sad*----not really), they have comedians on air, and they also have live nasheed singers...no other then our 'daroon'...punlic listerners......LOADS HAPPENS!

anyway...last ramadan all the listerners were like...because every yr after ramadan we loose contact....why dnt we this yr meet on a monthly basis and do something about issues around us concerning us muslims...so thats how they gather every month...its wikid! also its still new...but they have now made a forum,,,,which is still being constructed...but this is really kool...cos atleast this is a way to keep our brothers & sisters oqqupied ...
