Pathans are pakistanis who live in the Northern Areas of Pakistan like Peshawar, Swat etc.

Very hospitable people and very cultural - bro Farhan you might wanna add somethings!

Well my parents are from a village called Kohat which is further towards the border of afghanistan, our ancestors are from Khost In afghanistan.

It is true that they take thier culture very seriously, sometimes this is a good thing however it also has its negative side especially as we are muslims.

I like Pathans. When I was in Hajj, I had pathan daal and naan almost every evening. Lovely! Farhan, tell your mum to put some on Ebay, it'll sell like mad!

I think about 2-3 hours drive, Im not sure about miles

Im sure you are aware that it takes that long because of the condition of the roads :p

Kohat is a beautiful place... I went 5 years ago.. but I also went to Parachnaar... that's on the borders of Afghanistan too... (I also went to Afghanistan..past the border ;) ) but that was because my uncle is in the army and he was there at that time :sister:

Sawaat is beautiful! I remember eating in Sawaat Continental Hotel! ;D oh the memories! :sister: I went there on the way to Kalaam .. awwwwweeesome place! :thumbs_up
