*ETIQUETTES OF MUSAAFAHAH (SHAKING HANDS)*

[emoji93] Etiquette #⃣1⃣ [emoji93]

[emoji422] Do *NOT* shake hands with a person when his hands are *involved* in such an act or activity which *necessitates him* to empty his hands. On such occasion just to say Salaam is adequate.

Ahamduillah, the etiquettes of Islam embrace every aspect of our life.

It can happen even with women, for example if your hands are full with shopping and you are carrying books, and someone sticks out their hand, you have no choice but to put everything down and shake it. A small thing, but I just noticed it.

[emoji93] Etiquette #⃣2⃣ [emoji93]

[emoji422] If someone is hurrying along the road, do *not* stop him for hand-shaking. Such a person should *not* be stopped and engaged in a conversation because you *may be holding him up* from something important.

Quotes from "Aadaab-ul-Mu`aasharaat" of Hadhrat Thanvi Rahmatullaah `Alayhi, I see.

Alhamdulillaah, very good.

Mu`aasharah is one facet of Deen which is extremely neglected in this day and age.
