Evidence for Mahdi and dajjal in Qur'an?

Everything in ahadith is supported by the Qur'an and infact, a major way of proving the validity of a certain hadith, is verifying it against, what the Qur'an has to say.

So, I'd like to find out, and know the verses of the Qur'an that point to al-mahdi and dajjal.

Especially Al-mahdi, because Allah would not leave such an important thing unmentioned in the Qur'an.

In general, yes everything in the Sunnah can be said is supported by the Qur'an, however not specifics. The Qur'an is a book of guidance, not a compendium of rulings; it gives the generals and the Messenger (salalahu alayhi wa sallam) was the one who explained to us the verses as the Qur'an directed him to:

{And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear [LI TUBBAYINA] to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought.}[an-Nahl; 44]

Secondly, the initial and major way of determining the authenticity of a hadeeth is by checking the isnaad - the chain of narrators. There are other factors that come into play as well - such as conformity with the Qur'an. Here are some introductory articles about Uloom al-Hadeeth:

So, I'd like to find out, and know the verses of the Qur'an that point to al-mahdi and dajjal.

The Mahdi and Dajjal are not mentioned in the Qur'an. However, the hadeeth about the Mahdi are Mutawatir, therefore belief in them is obligatory. The Dajjal is mentioned in many authentic hadeeth. Just because neither are specifically mentioned in the Qur'an doesn't mean that they are in contradiction to the Qur'an. There are many things in our religion that aren't mentioned in the Qur'an but come directly from the Messenger (salalahu 'alayhi wa sallam).

Especially Al-mahdi, because Allah would not leave such an important thing unmentioned in the Qur'an.

That's an incorrect premise that doesn't have any foundation.

The Dajjal is not mentioned in the Qur'an because it has NOTHING to with Islam. This concept of Dajjal and Al Mahdi is mentioned in the Bible. Yet, the information that we as Muslims get about this subject is soley based on hadith.

Assalaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

1.Religion is an examination, a test, which distinguishes elevated spirits from base ones. It therefore speaks of matters that everyone shall see with their eyes in the future in such a way that they remain neither altogether unknown, nor self-evident so that everyone would be compelled to confirm them. They open the door to the reason but do not take the will from the hand. Because if a sign of the Last Day appeared completely self-evidently and everyone was compelled to affirm it, then a disposition like coal would remain equal to one like diamonds. The mystery of man’s accountability and results of examination would go for nothing. It is because of this that there has been much dispute over many matters like that of the Mahdi and Dajjal.

2. There are various levels in the matters of Islam. If one requires certain proof, for another the prevailing opinion is sufficient. Others require merely assent and acceptance and not to be rejected. In which case, secondary matters or particular events in time which are not among the bases of belief do not require certain compliance and definite proof, just not to be rejected and to be submitted to, and not to be interfered with.

3. ‘Nor anything fresh or dry, but is in a Record Clear.’
The above verse states that everything, fresh or dry, is found within it, is that so? Yes, everything is found in it, but everyone cannot see this, for all the things it contains are found at different levels. Sometimes the seeds, sometimes the nuclei, sometimes the summaries, sometimes the principles, sometimes the signs, are found either explicitly, or implicitly, or allusively, or vaguely, or as a reminder. One of these is expressed according to need, in a manner suitable to the purposes of the Qur’an and in connection with the requirements of the position.

Well I don't have enough knowledge on Dijall and al-mahdi but i have heard this from many people that the Bermuda triangle where people are disappearing are been collected by al-mahdi and after their soldiers are collected he will come to earth to save Islam Do any one else heard about this.
