If it isn't too much trouble, would you please make me a banner? You have excellent taste in backgrounds, so you can choose. I would really like it to say, "Noah/Nuh (pbuh) was an amateur." but I'm afraid people will think I'm being prideful, which isn't what I mean by it at all. The other thing I can think of is from Surah Al 'Isra, "And say to My servants to they say that which is fairest for surely the devil incites discord between them." (17:53) What do you think?

Just that Aayah, yes, but a different translation, if that is ok with you. Most of my friends and family are not Muslim and I would like to make this accessible to them. (I know that such a thing is not without dangers, but in this instance I think it is ok.) How about this one:

And say to My servants - speak that which is best; surely the devil sows dissensions among them. Surely the devil is an open enemy to man.

There is one translation that uses the word "clear" as in "clear enemy". I find it interesting as something which is "clear" is something that is hard to see, kind of invisible. That is how he is.. He is very subtle in leading one astray.

Hulk, I don't want to stray too far off topic here, but yes, I've received some harsh criticism from a close friend already. But I've made one new Muslim friend who is being incredibly patient with me as I carefully move closer to fully embracing Islam. Even now, it's easy for me to express my respect for the Quran and Islam - something that I first studied over 19 years ago.

Also, I liked your insight about the use of the word "clear" in that Aayah.
